🌪️ HURRICANE MELISSA: WHEN THE STORM HIT

📍 October 28, 2025 | Jamaica

Hurricane Melissa, a devastating Category 5 storm, tore through Jamaica with unstoppable force—destroying homes, farmlands, schools, and livelihoods in its path.

Entire communities were left without power. Families were displaced. Futures were suddenly uncertain.

Yet even in the storm’s aftermath, hope took root.

💬 A STORY THAT MOVED US ALL

In St. Elizabeth Parish, 10-year-old Jamal stood clutching his schoolbooks as floodwaters climbed the steps of his home. His mother, Marsha, held him close and whispered:

“We still have each other—and that’s enough to start again.”

Those words became our call to action.

✨ From heartbreak came purpose.
✨ From loss came unity.
✨ From the storm rose Waves of Hope.

🌍 THE AFTERMATH: A NATION RISING

When the skies cleared, the reality was heartbreaking:

🔹 Thousands of families displaced
🔹 Farmlands and food supplies destroyed
🔹 Schools, churches, and clinics damaged
🔹 Businesses and livelihoods swept away

But across Jamaica, something powerful happened.

🤝 Neighbors shared food
🕯️ Churches opened their doors
❤️ Communities leaned on one another

Resilience became the foundation of recovery.

📦 19 RELIEF BARRELS SHIPPED

Delivered to communities in:
Black River • Hanover • Montego Bay

Each barrel is packed with life-sustaining supplies:
✔️ Nonperishable food
✔️ Hygiene and sanitation items
✔️ Baby essentials
✔️ Bedding and clothing
✔️ First aid kits
✔️ Household necessities

These supplies are now en route and will be distributed to families most affected by Hurricane Melissa.

⚡ POWERING HOPE: 2 GENERATORS SHIPPED

🏥 Black River Hospital received two high-capacity generators, helping to ensure:

🔌 Continuous power for critical medical equipment
🤱 Reliable support for maternity and emergency wards
🚑 Life-saving care during ongoing outages

These generators are more than machines—they are lifelines.
